Meet the Vessel Team!

Describe the business/organization you work for:

At AI Genius Automations, we specialize in designing and building custom AI-powered applications, software, and advanced automations. Our mission is to help businesses streamline their operations, reduce inefficiencies, and unlock growth potential by leveraging cutting-edge technology.

What inspired you to start your own business, or why did you decide

to work for this specific organization?

We were inspired by the limitless potential of AI and automation to revolutionize how businesses operate. We saw an opportunity to fill a gap by offering businesses truly customized solutions—tailored applications and automations that align with their unique needs. Our passion lies in making technology approachable and impactful, so people can focus on being human, and get their time back.

What sets this business apart from others in the industry?

We test while others talk. We don't behave in predatory ways that take advantage of people's lack of technical knowledge. We approach our builds from a process engineering, with the goals, wants, and needs of the specific client at the forfront of the process.

What challenges have you faced as a business owner or employee, and how did you overcome them?

One of our biggest challenges has been helping clients overcome hesitancy toward adopting new technologies. To address this, we focus on education—breaking down complex concepts into simple, relatable terms and showcasing tangible benefits. By building trust through transparency and delivering results that speak for themselves, we’ve been able to overcome resistance and establish ourselves as experts through demonstration.

What advice would you give to someone looking to join your

industry?

TEST EVERYTHING.

Introducing: Jeanne Allen, QA Engineer II, Destination Pet Describe the business/organization you work for: Destination Pet is a company that provides pet services like boarding, daycare, house sitting, and dog walking and grooming. I work on the Yourgi app, which is the online portal for booking appointments for your pets. What inspired you to start your own business, or why did you decide to work for this specific organization? I decided to work for Destination Pet because the team there is incredible, and I felt like I could make a difference and help the company grow. What sets this business apart from others in the industry? They really care about their customers and try to make every pet service something to remember. What challenges have you faced as a business owner or employee, and how did you overcome them? Working for a tech startup can be hard because the infrastructure isn't set up for development. I enjoy helping set up this infrastructure, so I'm working with the team to make their processes more efficient and enhance communication across teams. What advice would you give to someone looking to join your industry? Be curious and excited to learn. With QA, software development, and devops, there's so much to learn, and being curious is an essential part of the job.
