About the Gala
Idaho's Premier Celebration of Technology & Innovation
From Idaho's agricultural roots to the International Space Station, the Idaho Technology Council's annual Hall of Fame Gala is the organization's crescendo event — celebrating iconic Idahoans who have forever changed the way we work and play.

Idavation™ Awards
Award Categories
The Idavation™ Awards spotlight the game changers and innovators who exemplify Idaho's entrepreneurial spirit. Selections are drawn from nominations across the state — winners announced live at the event. Nominations close August 15, 2026.
Leadership
Mt. Borah Visionary Leader Award
Mt. Borah is the highest peak in Idaho with inspiring views in all directions. This award is granted to a leader who has expanded the horizons of Idaho's technology and entrepreneurial community.
Emerging Company
Hells Canyon Emerging Company Award
Hells Canyon is the deepest canyon in the United States and presents a daunting journey for those who wish to travel through and emerge from it. This award is granted to a startup that has experienced a similar journey of hardship and sacrifice to achieve success.
Innovation
Peregrine Innovative Technology Award
The Peregrine Falcon is extremely agile and flies at speeds up to 242 mph. This award is granted to a company or team that has created an innovative technology — requiring the same agility and speed to bring it successfully to market.
Women Leading Tech
Star Garnet Women Leading Tech Award
Inspired by Idaho's rare and radiant state gem, this award honors a woman whose leadership in technology is as exceptional as it is transformative — rare, resilient, and brilliant from the inside out. Through strategic insight, innovation, and mentorship, she not only drives change, she leads it.
STEM Education
Sawtooth STEM Educator Award
Honors educators who create unique opportunities for students to experience the fun and excitement of STEM by integrating real-world experiences and hands-on activities into the classroom. Each recipient also receives a cash award to further STEM for their students.

Sawtooth Awards
Honoring Idaho's STEM Educators
To close out the evening, the ITC — together with the Idaho STEM Action Center — presents the annual Sawtooth Awards to educators who go above and beyond to inspire students through innovative, real-world STEM experiences and hands-on activities in the classroom.
Three educators are honored across the K–6, 7–12, and Higher Education categories. Each recipient receives a $2,000 personal cash award plus $2,000 for their school or institution to further STEM programs and initiatives for their students.

The History of the Hall of Fame Gala
From Idaho’s agricultural roots to the International Space Station, the Idaho Technology Council’s annual Hall of Fame gala is the organization’s crescendo event that celebrates iconic Idahoans who have changed the way we work and play. This annual fall event (watch the events page for details) has become a cornerstone for Idaho’s tech ecosystem and is the place to connect and celebrate with other members of the community.
In addition to the Hall of Fame induction ceremony, this event features the Idavation™ Awards sponsored by Scoggin Capital Investment, that highlight and celebrate the game changers and innovators that exemplify Idaho’s entrepreneurial spirit and are currently transforming Idaho’s future. Inductees have been selected from nominations gathered across the state and the winners will be announced live at the event. Be sure to join us live and catch the excitement!
To close out this amazing event, the ITC, along with Idaho STEM Action Center, presents the annual Sawtooth awards to two educators who “create unique opportunities for students to experience the fun and excitement of STEM by integrating real-world experiences and hands-on activities into the classroom.” Along with the physical award, each educator is presented a cash award to further the STEM experience for their students.
