- 7–12 STEM Educator
- Higher Education STEM Educator (college, university, or other post-secondary setting)
How it works
50 to the A
A campaign spearheaded by the Idaho Technology Council’s Capital Connect initiative focused upon early-stage companies that are positioning themselves to raise Series A capital.
The goal of the campaign is to assist 50 Idaho-based companies with obtaining the vitally important Series A venture capital, necessary to fund future growth. Since the inception of 50 to the A in 2021, the campaign has celebrated the success of twelve companies that have raised a combined total of $170 M in capital.
50 to the A volunteers represent a wide array of business experts committed to coaching and networking companies with their sights set on a Series A capital raise.
At least once each year 50 to the A conducts a Showcase event to celebrate the success of companies that obtain Series A capital, and to focus attention on other promising seed stage companies that are in their early-stage phase of innovation and growth.
Between those events the campaign team:
- Actively monitors the progress of seed stage companies
- Invites potential Series A candidates to present their pitch at a monthly 50 to the A Nexus Meeting.
- Coaching is provided during meetings.
- Networking opportunities are identified.
- Networking may include seed stage and venture capital investors with whom 50 to the A has cultivated relationships.
