Hall of Fame Logomark

From Idaho’s agricultural roots to the International Space Station, the Idaho Technology Council’s annual Hall of Fame gala is the organization’s crescendo event that celebrates iconic Idahoans who have changed the way we work and play. This annual fall event (watch the events page for details) has become a cornerstone for Idaho’s tech ecosystem and is the place to connect and celebrate with other members of the community.

In addition to the Hall of Fame induction ceremony, this event features the Idavation™ Awards sponsored by Scoggin Capital Investment, that highlight and celebrate the game changers and innovators that exemplify Idaho’s entrepreneurial spirit and are currently transforming Idaho’s future. Inductees have been selected from nominations gathered across the state and the winners will be announced live at the event. Be sure to join us live and catch the excitement!

To close out this amazing event, the ITC, along with Idaho STEM Action Center, presents the annual INDEEDS awards to two educators who “create unique opportunities for students to experience the fun and excitement of STEM by integrating real-world experiences and hands-on activities into the classroom.” Along with the physical award, each educator is presented a cash award to further the STEM experience for their students.

The NFL Kicker Who Didn't Look at the Goalposts

John Madden, Super Bowl winning coach and legendary broadcaster, could not figure out field goal kicker Ray Wersching’s unorthodox technique.

Whenever Ray ran out onto the field to kick a ...
field goal or extra point, he never looked up. Ray never looked at the goal posts.

Watch the video to learn Ray’s fascinating technique utilizing imagination and visualization.

Wersching tied a Super Bowl record by kicking four field goals in Super Bowl XVI, and his field position kick-offs also helped his team win, 26–21. He won another Super Bowl ring with the 49ers in Super Bowl XIX, defeating the Miami Dolphins 38–16. Wersching was the 12th player in NFL history to score 1,000 points in a career.
