We will accomplish these goals by hosting monthly meet ups consisting of a combination unstructured social interactions to build connections, presentations to help educate, and real projects.

Monthly Meeting

Meet and connect with other Product Management professionals. Learn by sharing your challenges, experiences, and skills. Build connections that help you advance your career and achieve your professional objectives. Specific topic varies by month. See the calendar for more information.

Co Create a Prototype

Build product owner and experience designing skills while creating a deeper relationships within the professional community. Help a product champion bring their product concept to viability. The expected outcome is take a concept and build prototypes to enable product launch. This includes addressing user experience, go-to-market, commercialization, marketing and more.

Expert Review

This session is for anyone interested in interaction design, usability, visual design, and prototyping who likes to provide feedback on products and services in a Design Critique format. Each time an organization presents its product or service for a professional community based critique. Reviews focus on the customer’s interactions in terms of business goals and target audience profile. The goal is to find ways to improve how to determine, develop and deliver the customer experience to increase revenue and reduce cost.

Peer Sharing of Best Practices

This session focuses on sharing by local product owners. Practitioners would share their experience with tools they use to accomplish their work, for example, wire framing. The objective is to share a short set of objectives for the tool and Best Practices and tips for how to get the most out of these tools.

Technology Showcase

The Technology Showcase is an online and in-person forum for matching and connecting Idaho-based technology developers with product owners and industry technologists who could benefit from the work of researchers and scientists at the Idaho National Lab and local universities. Lab and university researchers and scientists would be evaluated based on their commercialization potential.
