Description

Duties & Responsibilities

• Interacts with other departments and internal users as part of development of software, test plans and automated tests for Healthwise’s Products and Systems.
• Focuses on understanding product specifications, creating test plans, setting up test environments, developing, executing and maintaining test suites, and result analysis.
• Helps improve our continuous integration processes as we seek to build, deploy, test, and report nightly.
• Responsible for defect reporting, issue tracking, and system level troubleshooting.
• Contributes to development of company-wide quality objectives, principles, and processes while achieving goals in creative and effective ways.
• Performs other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience of 4-6 years in a related field.
• 2+ years analyzing system features and functionality and determining the best approach and techniques to conduct testing (black box, white box, stress/load, exploratory, data integrity, security, and automation).

Demonstrate Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge and experience testing web-based applications and services.
• This is a hands-on position that must have a strong command of software testing theory and practice.
• Scrum development process knowledge and experience.
• Experience developing automated tests using Visual Studio Team System “Tester” and Team Foundation Server strongly desired.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, to organize, and to coordinate a high volume of information.
• Outgoing team player with good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and interviewing skills with the ability to develop specifications.
